Our Origin

Messy, hard, meaningful work.

From the dot-com bubble to RDOF and BEAD, our company has grown by seeking to modernize dysfunctional utility programs. We learned early on that pole attachment work is hard, messy, and totally worth it.

We have a 60+ person engineering team processing thousands of poles for our local IOU. We've held utility contracts for over a decade, performing make ready, OTMR, pole inspections replacement engineering, double wood resolution, software development, and project management for joint use departments.

Every workflow in Katapult Pro was built to help our own team solve a messy process.

Our make ready designers work just up the street from our software developers. When we say a workflow is effective, that comes from doing the work, not from speculation. We do the work in our backyard to keep the software sharp without competing with our customers on a nationwide scale. This keeps our make ready engineering territory relatively small and focused on maximum positive impact in our local communities.
