Make Katapult Pro Your Own
Workflow Management enters open beta, proposed attachment markers get configurable placement rules, and API edits now show up in attribute history.
We're excited to share this month's update with your team! The star of the show is Workflow Management, now in open beta and ready to turn on today.
Workflow Management (Open Beta)
Workflows let your team organize jobs into configurable statuses and advance them with automations that run at each status change. Actions now execute as a batch: if any one fails, the whole status change rolls back, so a job never lands in a half-updated state. Workflow owners can also review a log of action runs on the Map (or App) pages, showing what ran, what was skipped, and what failed. Turn on the open beta from the Project Management page.

Configurable Proposed Cable Logic
You can now set simple rules for the distance, direction, and marker type used to place proposed comm, power, and ground markers on poles and midspans. Proposed attachments land where your standards say they should, without hand-adjusting markers job after job. Models previously set to Basic now resolve to the new User Configuration mode.
API Upgrades
Attribute changes written through the V3 API now appear in Attribute History and can trigger tracked Actions, with control over which Actions an API call is allowed to fire. Integration edits leave the same paper trail as edits made in the app. We also added endpoints for fetching jobs and nodes by their last_updated time, along with model data, photo URLs, and user information.
