Katapult Pro Feedback - Now Live!

One of the most underutilized features in Katapult Pro is called Feedback. We've been using this tool internally for years, and just pushed a comprehensive overhaul with our June Katapult Pro release to make sure your team can leverage Feedback to its full capabilities!


What is Katapult Pro Feedback?

Feedback is an in-app thread for identifying and resolving issues with other users at your company. Our team uses it for:


  • Training up new staff

  • Performing PE review

  • Pulling in expertise on complicated standards and specs

  • Forensic analysis of past work (for redlines, etc)

This feature allows users to ask questions, open issues, receive feedback, and resolve hangups without leaving Katapult Pro. 


Users receive notifications in Katapult Pro when they are tagged in a conversation or issue.

Because conversations can be started on a job, a node, an action, or an attribute, users can instantly navigate to the specific issue and dive into the details.

You can view all open conversations and issues at a glance by expanding your user icon in the upper right. You can also add a Feedback widget to your Home interface at katapultpro.com/home

Public vs Private Feedback

By default, all feedback is private to users in your company. You can open up Feedback to other companies with read access to your job at the Model level. 


How to turn public feedback on for model spaces in Katapult Pro

In the future, there may be more intricate ways to collaborate with clients and subcontractors inside Feedback dialogue, such as marking individual issues or threads as public.


Why is Feedback so important?

We are huge believers in frequent feedback loops for new staff. We also believe that designers need an opportunity to fix their own mistakes. Our tool was built to help our team provide better feedback to new teammates faster and allow them to ask questions quickly and get expert eyes on exactly what they're looking at.
